Default Will They Fit

Will 2010 FLHX stock slip-ons fit on a 2008 FLHTCU?

muffler yes, headers, no.

the stock FLHX for 2010 was a 2 into 1 system- so a single muffler.

any muffler from 1995 to 2013 will interchange to any headers 1995 to 2013, same diameter inlet, same type of flange

2009+ headers will not fit the 2008 and earlier frame.

they could have been ON a 2010 FLHX...many riders didn't like the look, and changed the 2/1 for a 2/1/2 system which is why the 2/1 was dropped by H-D after 1 year.

there should be a part number on the mufflers you are offered, look that up

here's a pic of a 2010 FLHX

the 2/1 probably gave better ground clearance on the lowered ( rear by 1") FLHX than would the 2/1/2 used on the most of the other touring models

Unless they came of "two" 2010 FLXH exhausts - mkguitar's correct. This was the "one" year HD ran the 2-1 exhaust on a FLXH...wasn't a popular set-up so they went back to 2-1-2...

To answer your question - pipes should fit, but have them measure the opening & this would be the deciding factor...good luck!

Thanks for the replies. I am running Rush slip mufflers now and the right muffler will not keep it's baffle packing in. It gets a little load for me. I got the SG mufflers off this site for shipping price only so there is no room to complain either way. This forum is the best as far as I am concerned. If the they work and tone it down some, great. If not it is not a major loss. Thanks again.
