Default Seat bolts when solo.....

I do not like the look of the 2 bolts that secure the seat when riding solo. Has anyone found an alternative for this fugly appearance?

Cool

Brukus makes some "Seat Secure" hardware that isn't too bad. Look at their web site.

I have them and besides keeping your seat safer to some degree they look pretty sweet.

We have our SeatSecure that works on the solo seats which require either the dual bolts or the single bolt. The SeatSecure is designed to "stay lifted" if you wish to attach your pillion or your luggage rack behind the seat. Or you can simply install the seat without any other attachments.

The picture below shows our product in matte black with the bib and then our Fender Security Screw with a matte black cap to secure the bib.

Our SeatSecure is designed to "spin" so that a thief can't simply unscrew it. And it attaches with a stainless steel security screw that requires the security torx wrench - same one used on the SaddlebagSecure and the ShieldShackles for our customer's convenience.

There are actually 7 parts (obviously most hidden) to each SaddlebagSecure bolt you see pictured.

Our SeatSecure comes in Polished Stainless / Chrome, Gloss Black or Matte Black - as do the caps for the Fender Security Screw.
