Baker 7
Reason I'm asking is that I "upgraded" my 2000 Ultra T/C 88 from the stock 5 spd to a Baker DD6, mainly because the bike was cranking 3,500 RPM's in 5th gear at 80 MPH (which I thought was too high).
Looking back, I don't think that was a good idea.
With the DD6 installed, the stock T/C 88 didn't have the guts to pull it in 6th under 65 so I "upgraded" the engine with a "1550" big bore kit and that really made a huge difference!
The downside to all of this was that I started riding faster (as the bike ran so much easier) but then I used more fuel!
The upside was that I could manage to keep up with my wife who rides a Heritage Softail.
In hindsight, I would have been better off with the stock 5 spd cruising at 70 MPH and running 3,000 RPM's.

I agree its too high! If I was going to do it, it would be a up grade, my B6 is doing fine. $3400 was installed but still too high.
