I have it in my tube tires but can't comment as to it's effectiveness. I haven't seen any nails or other items sticking in my tire. It's inexpensive enough that it's worth a try. I have a friend who works for the county police and he says they use it in their cars.. It's cheap and it can't hurt.

i've used SLIME in the drag slicks...caint tell if it balanced em tho cause of tire shake half the time ...slicks usually leak down flat in acoupla days and it stopped that
I put Ride On in the tubes on my wife's Yamaha V-Star. She never had a flat but then again I don't know if anything punchered the tube. My wife was not a real regular rider and we ran the stuff for over a year without issue but I never considered it a good test. It was more an insurance policy for a road trip we took. I knew if she got a flat we were in trouble with her having spoked wheels and tubes and the Ride On just made me feel better knowing it was there.
I also wanted to know real life stories... If you have gone to their web site, you will see a link to people who have used it and have stories... I read all them then opened up www.dogpile.com and then went to the phone book link... with that open, I just typed in some of the names on the rideon web site testominal page... ended up talking to about 3 people and each one was very friendly and told me their story... I went right out and bought enough to do my RG and my 66 corvette - I am convince that for the little $$ it will work when needed.
I have posted all this on this forum in the past - however, it is not real easy to search here and the search engine does not go back all that far...
I've used it for years. I consider it cheap insurance that I will at least be able to make it to the next dealer rather than waiting on the side of the road for a tow truck. It has worked for me twice and I was glad I had it. Rinses off the rim easily with just a hose, non corrosive and non flammable. Just got a new bike and haven't put it in the tires yet. Thanks for reminding me!
I've been to the site and read all the testimoniales and etc, but reamain unclear on how much is needed for our stock FLHT tires. nothin worse than comming up short and/or having to toss many $$ in the trash.
