De-cat and Power Vision

I have a stock catted header and a Fuel Moto Power Vision on order and being delivered to me next week. Does anyone have any suggestions before I dig into this project? I have stock mufflers, American Custom mufflers and Bassani Megaphone mufflers. I am not sure which mufflers I will end up with but I am looking for that token "loud" HD sound. I ride in traffic and split lanes here in Los Angeles and want people to hear me before they see me.

Don't know about American Custom, but Bassani's are loud, as are Reinharts. And nothing is louder than a Thunderheader!

The Bassani's were moderately loud with the stock cat. The American Customs are definitely louder though....

It takes 10 minutes to swap mufflers - try them all. FWIW, the map I got from Jamie for stock mufflers and FM head pipe was identical to the map he sent me when I added V&H slip ons later. So if you are worried about ordering the right map, don't be. Joe

I am going to use the stock head pipe that I am getting and gut it. Then I am going to try out all three mufflers. Stock, American Custom (Modified Stock) and the Bassani's....
