Default Identify this spacer...
Hey folks... a buddy of mine has his '03 EG apart for a chrome inner primary and swing arm bushings... He has every bolt/nut/spacer in baggies labeled but found this odd half-moon spacer on a shop towel underneath his old inner primary, he and I have looked over the whole thing to figure out where this goes I wasn't there when it came apart, and have only had the primary off a '11 dyna. He hasn't put anything back together yet until he figures it out. I've looked through what exploded diagrams i could find on shopronnies... do not see anything that looks like this... hes just unsure if it was a spacer that was caught in the towel from something else... he does a lot of odd jobs out of his garage... any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

It's a exhaust bracket spacer, I think...
It goes between the two end pieces of the bracket that holds the exhaust in place.

exhaust bracket spacer goes in bracket that holds rear muffler on

Thats exactly what i thought it is... only he never removed his mufflers from the head pipes... pulled them both as complete pipes

He has Samson True duals... checked every nut/bolt/clamp and spacer on them as well nothing missing

Yeah thats what i thought it was... he never removed his clamps and those spacers are not missing hes thinking it was from an old exhaust job he did for a guy a week ago... i cannot figure anything other than that as well never seen one of these inside a primary or rear fork assembly...
