Default Mid frame heat deflectors?

I"m building my new bike, and had the mid frame deflectors painted, but I'm afraid they will take away from the way the engine looks, I've spent some cash on having it look great,
you all give your opinion!!!!

Not a fan of the plastic HD or Kury deflectors. RJS Originals="No More Fried Thighs" and look good to boot. Oh yea, they work as advertised...

I removed mine - for looks, and I think they hold the heat in. I've never been really that uncomfortable, even in some damn hot weather.

Well, I agree that it looks better without them. I would remove them, but keep them on a shelf just in case you want to put them back on.

i took my stock ones off my limited, installed the leather ones from captain Itch, the leather peace gives the bike a little better look than the plastic, and they work a whole lot better.

I just got mine for my limited. How did you fit under the tank? I'm not sure how they go
