I tend to buy Interstate. Widespread availability helps if a warranty replacement is needed while on the road. Great battery same style as oem (agm), spendy, but built right and for me lasts for years. I do use de-sulfinating chargers (schumacher and xtreme charge) during the winter (storage months).

Wonder if Battery Mart is noticing a sudden surge in business.

Considering that time of the year that riding is picking up, I would think so.

It was a 3.5 year old battery.
Figured $100 bux was cheap insurance, and not worth that to be stranded somewhere.

Ive got a Big Crank too.

I have not needed a battery for my bike yet, but had good luck with my tractor battery from Advance Auto. I just replaced it after 6 years and not using a battery tender.

I went with a J&P Cycles brand for $120. I'm happy with it.
