Can anyone reccomend heat sheilds for 2013 Street Glide. The ones that keep the heat off the thighs... I went to no fried thighs website but did not see them for a street glide... Thanks
There is no aftermarket heat shield that blocks heat any better than the stock ones.
Losing the CAT's help heck that is how a cat works it get real hot. a nice 2-1-2 header pipe like the Jackpots for fuel motor move some of the heat away
H-D part # 58002-09, mid frame air deflectors are what you want. However, to really address your heat issue you need to replace your head pipes which are where the catalytic converters are. Once the cat's are gone the heat is reduced significantly.
I will tell you that I have removed all of our competitors shields at various rallies over the years for various reasons. From the plastic ones being cracked, broken, and in one case one side had just fallen off a brand new bike.
Our product has a larger foot print than the others ,it is easy to install, and it can't break..It works very well or your money back..Period.
We can also add chrome studs, or colored studs and crystals to match your bike. We also emboss the leather with various designs like the Willie G skull, bar and shield, wings, cross, Masonic Lodge Emblem and more to come. We also hand tool our heat shields with barb wire and basket weave tooling. So you can really make a statement if you want. Our crotch coolers are not only functional, but are also a beautiful accessory to enhance the look of your bike. If you have any questions please email or give us a call.Thank you Larry
He will make them however you want - plain, studs, whatever,...
We had a customer come up to us at a HOG Rally, telling that he had purchased his heat shield off of Ebay, and it is the same guy you bought yours from. This customer told us that he loves the quality of OUR heat shields, and wished that he had seen ours first, as his Ebay deflector doesn't even come close to our quality.
