Angry Need Help!!!!

I woke up early this morning to go for a ride in the hopes I could get in a few miles before the predicted rain in the afternoon. Well I start the bike and it sounds like it's idling really rough for about a minute, then sounds like one of the cylinders cut out, so I turn it off.

I wait a couple minutes and try again, except this time it won't start at all.
Now, I'm not very mechanically inclined, so I try the simple stuff like checking the spark plugs and battery connection. Everything looks fine.

So, I wait another couple minutes and try again. It fires right up, but again sounds like only one of the cylinders is firing. I twist the throttle a couple times and nothing happens. Then the check engine light comes on.

I rode the bike yesterday, then cleaned it in the afternoon. It ran great. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

P.S. It is a 2012 Street Glide.

I suspect that your plug wires may be wet from your cleaning yesterday. Might try removing them one at a time and drying them off.

Maybe it's going into "parade mode"' for some reason? 1st thing I would do since the CE light came on is check for codes. Here's the instructions and code list...

Check the connection right behind the A/C cover. Can't think of the name of it right now. But you will see it at about 9 o clock behind the cover. Unplug it and see if you have any moisture.

Default What codes are you getting

Do you know how to look at the DTC Codes?

when the check engine light comes on = a DTC Stored code in memory

It ran great.

I also checked the plug wire and the connection behind the A/C cover and everything appears dry.

A 2012 should STILL be under warranty. Take it in if it'll run. Otherwise tow it. Let THEM deal with it.
