I have a question for all you touring guys and gals. Well someone please provide me with the measurements requested in the pic below? If you can't see the pic, the measurements I request are for the holes on the support bracket that holds the hardbags, the two holes in question are the one where the rear of the bags is connected to the support and the other is the hole where the support mounts to the bike at the strut.
Thanks for the feed back, I have an additional question and I don't mean any disrespect to you.
Are you positive on those measurements? Looks like the bag hole is further rearward of the strut hole then it is lower of the strut hole. Maybe the picture is misleading me.
Your saying the measurements in View A are the measurements you got, correct?
Yes, I am sure of the measurements. The drawing that you are using is way out of scale. Look at the picture of the actual part and you can see how its nothing like the drawing. The parts that I measured are off of a 2010 Streetglide. Again, I hope this helps.

Thanks again, would it be possible for you to post a pic of the mount from a horizontal view? I am thinking that the pics I have found are all deceiving me because they are all pic of the brack from an angle, either just above the bracket or forward and aft of the bracket, nothing directly from the side.
Thank you for the pic here is what I got from it. View B in the drawing I provided above is the correct measurements. Measurement B = 4" and Measurement A = 2". I rotated your picture so it is flowing the same direction as the drawings I made, so you can see what I see. Based on the original numbers you gave me, it came across as the measurements seen in View A and this is why I was a bit confused. The picture really helped out, thanks alot.
Bbs15, I just want to thank you again for the help, it has help me a ton with my project.
If its possible, can you or anyone else that chooses to chime in help me with one more thing. I need the measure ment from the back of the Strut mount point to the face of the bag mount point.
