Default engine transmssion long life thread

hi there guys, I am not new to riding but I am new to twin cams. we are looking for a newer bike. maybe a 2010 or 2009 street glide with the little trunk rack on the back. my question is assuming that most of these guys have done the correct service at the correct time, how is the average life time in miles for the twin cam and the tranny?
\thanks so much

Too many factors determine life...Service, type of service , riding style etc...You would get way over 100000 miles for sure...My 07 has 75000 miles and i expect it to last to 250000. or more.

Thumbs up

Too open a question! There are probably plenty of bone stock TC88s and TC96s that have done 100k+ plus miles with minimum expense, just as there were Evos and shovels before them. Buy, ride, enjoy! Let us know how you get on.

If maintained properly I would guess 100K on top end and 200K on bottom end.
