Want to get an i dash type thing to house my htc phone so I can use it like an mp3 player or gps and charge it while I ride but also have the weather and time displayed all the time.
If I get a fairing I am going to build into it a docking station for my 7" tablet so I can have touchscreen navigation, skype etc.. plus time and weather on display on a large screen.

Thanks for the sugestions..I also have a clock in my Speedo but I think I want one I can just glance at while riding..The speedo one seems to be on other selection when I look and then have to push button to find it...not a big deal just thinkin I like the looks of those on the fork lock...I never use fork lock...never. The price of these things are like most everything...you get what you pay for...I may go with the handle bar mount it's half the price of fork lock!

Why junk up the RK with a redundant doodad when you already have a clock? If it's so important to you to know what time it is when you're riding, turn the display to clock before you head out. It will stay there until the gas monitor goes into countdown. Or, in the alternative, relax and try to forget about the time. (As Peter Fonda said in "Wild Hogs," "Lose the watch.")
My 09 Road King has a clock built into the speedo display. Gotta push the buttons or something. I set it once when the bike was new and never since. Gotta look up the procedure in the owners manual. To lazy / don't give a crap!
