Good evening my friends. I was looking at my 08 Ultra parts manual surfing E Bay for front fork parts to rebuild the forks, and noticed a part called a Damping Valve. Some HD sites are referring to it as a Blow Valve. Also, this part is only shown in the forks of fairing equipped models. Is this some factory attempt at a Ricor?? Does it try to emulate one?? I don't have a bagger so I have limited knowledge. I have a friend that has a shop and he is a harley mechanic and he has shown me the valve your talking about. (we were talking about the intimidators) He says its better then nothing but won't work as well as an intimidator. In fact, thats why he had the valves to show me because he has switched so many out for customers.

 

Looking in my manual a few days ago it refered to the damper valve. Manual says its only bikes with fairing. It was below the spring in the schmatics
