Default upgrade mile markers

I am looking at upgrades to an 06 roadglide. What is the largest i can go without going to aftermarket motor and what are the major mile markers with respect to hp tq and longivity.I.E at what point is it possible to upgrade with cam air cleaner and pipes;just barrels and pistons, boring the cases for stroke etc.Speed is dirrectly proportional to cash.
Reliabilty is more important to me than out # and cash is modest.

Personally, I think the proper cam, pipes, A/C and tuner is a great stopping off point as far as bang for your buck. After that IMHO you are getting into the diminishing returns. But, if your budget allows, a big bore kit and some heads will definitely be felt and still be reliable. Call Fuel Moto. Jamie will get you straight without trying to upsell you.

Well your '06 has a an 88" so a bore will put ya at 95". If ya want to go bigger, Ya need to split the cases to overbore and stroke. At that point 117 is about the limit on stock twincam cases. A good 95 build with headwork and cams will do over 100 tq&hp. After that, it really gets expensive.
