Riding gloves
Gloves are like helmets, I'd never buy without trying them on first. I wear a leather gell filled fingerless that are nylon lined for easy on and off for the summer and carry a pair of light weight leather for cool nights. When its cold I wear insulated with large gauntlets to keep air out of my arm sleeves
Lot's of variables to consider in answering your question. Gloves are a personal choice kind of thing I think. You know- one man's meat is another man's poison kind of thing?
I assume you are looking for summer gloves?
What kind of gloves - full finger vs fingerless, leather vs textile, padded vs non-padded, vented or not, etc.
IMO, the biggest hurdle to ordering gloves is not being able to try them on first. Sizing fluctuates too much from one manufacturer to the next. Once you know your size, you can get in the ballpark, but nothing beats trying them on first.
If that's not an option- measure your hands - here's a really good size chart-

I've worn many different types of gloves over the years, but usually ride with full finger, short cuff leather gloves. These are some gloves I wear regularly and have had good luck with-

These WORK....A little pricey but if you have CT or your hands start to tingle after several hours of riding, these gloves work as advertised.
I was a little skeptical but I ordered them and they do work.
Now if you don't have hand issues, there's plenty of other cheaper gloves to be found.

In the warmer months I use just a plain inexpensive leather work glove. Winter months I wear a deerskin with thinsulate.
