For summer gloves, I have a pair of fingerless, padded HD gloves, and a pair of Sidi perforated with knuckle protection. I don't have a problem with my hands, but the padded were something I wanted to try. I tend to switch back and forth depending upon my mood that day. I also have some plain leather work gloves that work well. Don't have that Harley vibe, but that's okay too as they are cheap.
For winter, I have a pair of deerskin, thinsulate-lined gauntlets. They have worked down into the low 40's which has been as cold as I have needed to get out in.

+1 I wear mine all the time, love them. I have silk liners that I wear under them when it gets a little cooler, but they are a great general purpose riding glove.

Second year with the RoadGear Carbon Max. Soft, comfortable, Excellent quality. Look at Icon as well. Revzilla sells and has video of the gloves. Actually Revzilla has video of lots of gloves. Good shopping guide.

bought my harley gloves back in 04, I wore them tonight, still not ripped, like new and I love them, the only thing I was thinking maybe a lighter pair for spring nights like now, mine are a little bulky, but waterproof, and warm, they have a wrist velcro strap plus a pull tight thing, they go up enough on the wrists that you can tuck your leather into the ends and seal up your arms and wrists easily.

I only bought two things harley, well three, a cross bones helmet, that went flying on the highway and I lost it, rain gear that I still have 9 years later and it is still in great shape and no tears or burns and these gloves.
I have to say the quality is very good.

I usually avoid harley stuff especially the clothing because it is so expensive but the stuff I bought has lasted and performed very very well.

Love my Ikon perforated leather gloves for summer riding. They're actually the only gloves I own cause it's always summer here...

Tour Master has a good selection to pick from. As stated above, try them on first. JR
