I love my 4" Rhineharts! They are really good sounding and not load only if you get on it and then they sound awesome. I did the CFR's (Knock-offs) great sound but way too load. Had Vance and Hines, too quite. Why do you think so many bikes have Rhineharts?
Lol I've had in this order from 2006 till now on my Streetglide , all 2-1. First was , pro pipe, then bub, then super trap, then dd fc, the new TH( best sounding pipe but loud!!)
My first set of duals was CFR not knockoffs. Still have them there good around back roads but hwy there loud. Good luck lets me know what you end up with.
CFR knock-off's from KC International @ 199.00 loudness is all sbjective i think. I find it sounds just right imo on my bike which is catted pipes at the moment.
If you wanna example of what they sound like on a catted/stock bike:
I have the rc components exhaust 4" slip on. Love them. They will not come off my bike till I buy a different bike. Find someone that has a set and listen to them. You can also do a search here and read about them. Rc also has a great selection of caps. The only bad thing I found with them is now my wife wants a set for her super glide. There goes another 500.00
plus 1 on the 4 inch Rineharts
had them on Stock headers
sounded good
I had the VH twin slash rounds on stock headers for 400 miles..Not loud enough..(may be better with dresser duals)
Yesterday I had the Dresser duals, SE Ventilator, SE Pro tuner installed
wow
The Rineharts sound great now
Its little louder
deeper than 3.5 rineharts
and still bark when your on it
I started with Rhinehart 4" slip ons on my street glide which sounded decent but was to quiet for me. Put the Jackpot header on with them and to me sounded great, not to super loud but when you get on it there's some bite to them

My 4 inch rineharts were a little tame too on the stock Cat headers for me but sounded good and deep..
but with the VH Dresser Duals they woke up and sound great
I have a set of Pythons, they are slash cut. My HD dealer put me on to them. They sound great out of the hole and are not to loud at cruise. The price was right too.
I've tried several variations and went with the tunable SE Fatshotz on a decatted stock header. Comes with 10 disks but running 5...loud enough for me and decent grunt on takeoff.
