Default LSHD1 order question

I ordered a king tour pak and all the hardware from Lake Shore tonight on a whim... wife wanted it for our summer trips, now she wants to know if it will be here for rolling thunder in three weeks... driving me nuts about it . Ya'll who have ordered painted parts from them before what was the lead time from order to your door.

Thanks

If it is a painted one just hold your breath for about two months. I have ordered two from them and other dealers and it takes that long for all painted surfaces unless is vivid black. Usually those are in stock more often than not but it is still a special order.

Call Bill Sparks and ask him if it is in stock. If it is, you have a chance.

But I don't like Bill anymore. He was very rude to me when I tried to purchase my inner fairing. He will not ship to me while in Korea to my APO address.

10 weeks... I'll be lucky to see it by end of summer. It is big blue pearl with pinstripes. I was just talking to a buddy of mine who ordered an ember red sunglo saddlebag lid in march and had it two weeks later. Knowing my luck my order will show up just in time for winter.

What I have heard in the past at a dealer, harley rotates colors through. They paint color x for y weeks then swap to the next color for a period of time. If not avail in stock you will have to wait for them to start making that color again. Dunno the actual duration tho

I have ordered painted lowers and also a tour pack at different times from LSHD1 and each time it was around 6 weeks to receive it.LSHD1 has no control on how long it takes the Motor co. to paint a special order part, but they are very timely in ordering the product and shipping as soon as they receive it from H.D.Its worth the wait to get a factory perfect match.
