On my way to FL last week I got into a heavy rain and my HK radio quit working. It turns on and all the functions seem to work but there is NO sound.
I pulled the fairing today after washing the bike to see if anything was loose and noticed there was water behind the fairing. Is that normal?? It wasn't soaked but there was a noticeable amount of water back there.
I am thinking about ordering a whole kit from Biketronics but their radios are not waterproof. By my calculations, water behind the fairing and a non waterproof radio is a recipe ending up where I started.
