crazy,
Heres what I was thinking myself.
I too like to find unique options to use on my bikes, mind you I havent ordered or made any parts yet for my king, I just dont have the cash yet, but.
If you know a welder.
Take off your guards and do the math on measurements, take a chain of medium to large links and lay it out to the shape you want, maybe mock it up with something else that will mold like coat hangers or others flexible shape-able material.
Have your welder weld the links together in the shapes and sizes you want, cut from your existing ones the bolt on sections and weld them to the chain where they will need to mount them up.
then send them to powder coat or chrome or paint and put them on.
I have seen whole frames like that, but for guards, boards, pegs, shifters, linkages, etc.. welded chain can be great, cheap and easy to get done, if you know a welder.
Just a thought.
