Default Wire covers
I had to replace a bad start/run switch on my handle bars on a 2001 EGC. In doing so, I had to split the wiring harness to solder in the new switches. Now I have the wires running from the right handle bar switch house to the fairing and the wires are wrapped with black tape. Is there something better I can cover the wires that looks more professional? Any ideas or suggestions?

you could try locating some heat shrink tubing that comes in various lengths. put as much heat to it to shrink it as tight as you might want it. comes in various colors as well. good luck.

Thanks. But I had to tap into 4 out 20 wires. Can't use heat shrink on existing wires unless you cut all 20 and solder them back together.

There's heat shrink tape also.
