Default 4.5" passing/spot lamp lens

So I managed to crack the lens of one of my passing lights (spot lamps?). It looks like it took a hit from a rock and cracked the lens completely.

I'm pretty sure it's not a sealed beam, since it's still working (and the cracks definitely go all the way through).

My question: Is it possible to just replace the lens? Any idea how much one costs? Is it something that the dealer will have in stock?

Should I just bite the bullet and get the Trucklite passing lamps? (wasn't planning on that expense right now)

Thanks!

Go to shopronniesharleydavidson.com and using the parts finder catalogue you can look up the exact part you need and it's part #. I did a quick check and not knowing your actual bike model 96 vs 103 etc. and found found what you would be looking for. I assume the passing lights would be the same for all Electra Glide but best to make sure you get the one listed for your bike. You can purchase just the lens or the whole lens assembly.

Thanks!

Looks like it should be an easily replaceable item and isn't even that expensive at ~$40.

Cheers

If you go with the truck lite ones check with your local Peterbilt or big rig dealer. The dealership I get 90% of my parts from got me mine for around 80 a piece if I remember right. Instead of buying the adapter plug for the new style light I used a repair plug for a gm fog light I got from an AC Delco parts store to update it to the newer Harley plug

What year is your bike? I had one basically explode on the 2012 and the dealer actually ADMITTED they have been having problems with the newer ones. They had to change more than just the lens (the trim or something too).

They fixed it on the spot at no charge.
