I think it's a great upgrade. The original seat would get smushed after an hour or so of my fat a$$ sitting on it, so after 100 miles I was sitting on the seat pan. The zep doesnt allow this to happen if it has any air in it.

I paid $699 for my leather one and switched seats before leaving stealers place. The real good news is when I sell this 07 it will come with an unused seat.

I had already purchased my Zepp from Ebay (about $600) before I got the bike. Took Momma on a ride for about 200 miles on stock. Switched seats, then took her again. WOW, no complaints, just praise. It is bigger, but I have decided to give it a fair test and leave it on for the next couple of months....hoping I can ride....to see if I can adjust to the larger size of the seat.

I also bought a Zepplin seat on E Bay. But I had trouble with the bladders shifting in the seat. This would cause the air lines in the seat to kink so I couldn't let the air out of the bladders. I took the seat apart a number of times to try to glue the bladders in place but they always seemed to migrate to the left.

Finally, I took the air bladders out and replaced them with Air-Rides Gel seat pads. I had purchased them to make the stock seat more comfortable. And that did it. So I do like MY gel zepplin seat.

I love it on my 05 Ultra. I've had it on there for 2 years, no problems.

New LEATHER seat from HalesHD.com, $640. New VINYL, $540. I wonder why he is selling it? I see where someone had a problem with one. I had trouble with the stitching, it wasn't straight. They kept sending a new one... took about 4 tries. It will raise you up about 1-1/2 inches.

So......the Road Zep. doesn't require any special instal? Just plug it into the accessory plug under the seat? How does this seat stack up to the corbin touring seat?

I had a corbin on my 04 RK. It was great; but I am looking for longer rides onthe Ultra and the Ride Zepp fits the bill.

Easy 1 screw install with teh plug-in being simple. It gets power from the Acc. switch on the dash.
