to paint or not to

question for you folks , would you re-paint a bike like a 100 year anv. any other color thank factory?

i'm thinking of a black cherry metel flake, had it one my 18 wheeler, and loved the color.

what say ye?

Paint it what every you like. the 100 anv is nothing special as far as collector unless you like the color. That black Cherry on a large car is pretty

Might depend on what kind of condition the original paint is in, but bottomline : your bike your choice of color .....unless resale concerns you.

naw not planning on selling, plan on riding her till one of us falls apart , probably me first.....lol

Personally, I HATED the 100 anniv paint scheme. My mom's lowrider and my dad's heritage were both the blue 100. The black cherry sounds pretty cool though!

you could always try to incorporate the 100th anniv stripe and emblem in the paint scheme. here's the stripe decal:
