My current volume is quiet unless I'm accelerating then it sounds great.
If I add on a Ness big sucker, will that change the volume for my normal cruise sound? Right now, when cruising ( non-highway ) it's very, very quiet. When I cruise above 75, the volume picks up a little bit.
This makes me sad. I wanted enough volume to hear my pipes while cruising ( but not crazy loud ). Right now I have to accelerate more than I want just to hear my pipes.
1st i decatted - it changed the exhaust note slightly
2nd installed VIED - no change in sound - no more decel popping
3rd - installed big ness - seems a little more responsive according to the butt dyno
Getting ready to order some slip ons- not sure what kind yet... but the point is - the only time i notice a change in sound was when i removed the cat.
I KNOW i will see a sound change when I install CFRs or Rhineharts - just cant decide which way to go.
