She's back (pics)
Well, today i got my ride back. only now it has wild 1 16" apes with the stainless lines to go along with em. i like em. the only issue i am having is that where the bars are most comfortable, they are too far forward to use the windshield. and i kinda like using the windshield. so, ill have to see which is more important i guess!!!!

I like the look on your RKC. I have thought about for mine but after so many years of getting beat up by the wind I would really miss my windshield. I take it off for local streets but always use it for freeway. Let us now how the windshield mod turns out and of course pics .

Beautiful bike! Let us know how you like the 16" Apes, after you have taken them for a long ride. I am trying to make up my mind which new bike to buy, and I really like the looks of the Apes though.

Nice! I'm getting to where I like apes on Rk's more and more. Seems like they would be more comfortable if they were tilted back toward the rider more. I've never had apes though, so I could be way off there. I've still got the stock bars and shield on my king, because I can't decide what I want to do. I like apes. Mini apes actually(12"-14"). I also like the shorter smoked shields. Problem is, I don't think they look good together, and I just can't take highway speeds without a shield for very long. Can't make-up my mind.
