No problem about the thread...glad you're getting some good information...I'd go for the shorter (16 3/8" to be exact) unless you're tall and/or have a tall seat! The short KW also looks good, otherwise, keep the stock size since you might not gain much going "down" to the 19 3/8".
I just got the short KW and the wind is hitting my eyes enough to dry them out. I'm getting some buffeting on the ears. It needs to be 2 inches taller. I'm 5-8 tall and the stock seat is cut down a little. I do suffer from naturaly dry eyes so I'm needing the wind to at least hit the top of my helmet.

Interesting...being 5'10", I can see over the short KW clearly by a couple inches and the wind gets deflected up and over my half helmet. I took a short (3 miles) ride when I first installed the windshield to see the effect and did NOT wear the helmet. The wind was blowing the very top of head/hair. With the helmet (which is always worn except for my "test"), I don't notice the wind on my head at all so it's not an issue. The improved/clearer vision is the most important feature to me and the reason I went with the shorter KW.
Yes, it's great seeing over the windshield. The stock 20 divided my line of sight. Really annoying. But now I'm getting enough wind me my eyes to be annoying. I have the fork leg wind deflectors and the one under the triple tree. I found the Rifle web site. They have a -2 height with a +3 width tinted for $159 plus ship that may be my next try for a windshield if I stay annoyed at the Flare.
Ya'll may want to look at Clearview with a recurve. I have one on my RK that works well and is a bit thicker than most.

Billy, want height Clearview did you get? I have the same bike as you and need to replace my windshield. I've had several Clearview shields in the past and they are excellent quality. I like the looks and what I've heard about the Klockwerks shield but I think the 16" will be too short and the 19 3/8" too tall. Wish they would make an 18".
Oh, and I have a 19" klockwerks. I'm 5'11" on a sundowner seat and it's perfect. My line of sight is right over the top edge, and buffeting and wind noise has been drastically reduced compared to the stock 20" screen.

This video pops up once in awhile and is quite dramatic. Unfortunately, it is not an accurate representation of windshield material. Our modified acrylics are D.O.T. approved for safety and are not your standard "home depot" acrylic as used in this video. When looking for a new and safe windshield, be more concerned with the D.O.T. approval than the composite. If anyone has further questions, I'm more than happy to discuss it...

I'm short so I got the 15" and look way over it. The recurve directs the wind over my head. You need to put a piece of tape on your windshield and go for a ride. Move it to where you want to be looking over your shield. Then order your shield. The recurve makes a good differance so you can go with a shorter shield.
The video means nothing. Lexan is soft, scratches very easily and can't be polished.

I ordered the 16" tinted Klockwerks Billboard Flare for my '13 RK 110th Anniversary. Actually it's suppose to be 16.5 inches according to Klockwerks. Sure hope it's high enough.
I was at Klockwerks in Mitchell, SD this week but they didn't have any of their demo shield in at the time. The tall is about the same height as a stock shield. I like their tint as it's kind of a light bronze color and should look really good on my 110th Anni.
