I got a map from Jamie at F.M. and experienced pinging midrange and beyond. Looked into the map and found mostly 3 and 4 degrees advance timing. I reset all the timing to zero and have no ping issue at all any more. Seems OEM cams aren't really in need of any advance unless the compression is increased. Bad gas can be a problem but it generally dissipates after 2 tanks or so.
