107 build pinging
build is in my signature and running a Fuel Moto base map thats been auto tuned. Since it started getting hot down here in texas i have had a bad ping at around 3/4 throttle. I have a thundermax and have lowered the timing in this range several times and about 7 degrees in some spots on the map and have not been able to cure the pinging. its really starting to get on my nerves. anyone have any advice on getting rid of this pinging?

Get a real tuner( tts or PV) and have it tuned by a professional. GMR is in texas. 10:5 to 1 should not ping.

If you have your original ecm I'd put it back on and get it tuned. I'm sitting @11.5-1 using 91 and so far I have never experienced a ping. It was over 100 today and I had mine out. Even went into parade mode and still never pinged.

From what I've read the tmax does not adjust timing when preignition is detected so you've got to get your timing right. Which is why I have tried pulling a lot of timing out of the map with no positive results.
