Default It whistles

When I shut the bike off it whistles. Obviously have an outgoing or intake air issue that has to figured out. Can't stop laughing cause it sounds so bizarre. Maybe it just likes me and whistles to get my attention.

Oh... the bike!
You had me worried for a minute.

Gas cap, maybe? No idea at what negative pressure the cap is designed to breathe.

(Oh sure... steal my thunder!)

A very short,or quick whistle as the engine stops? Sounds [on mine anyway] like it's coming from the crankcase breathers.

Most v-twins do it. I can here mine do it in the intake especially if I park in my shed up against the wall on the right and cut it off. I think the rotating mass compresses on a cylinder and after it stops, it actually reverses the engine a few inches. The other cylinder blows back out the slight breather gap opening in the throttle body and butterfly. Bet if you take off the air filter and take a clean white cotton cloth and spray some carb cleaner on the cloth and clean the butterfly and open around it, it will stop.

Talking It's no big deal really.
