Thanks for the info CN, I checked out the web site and the accutrack looks like a good unit without the ground clearance issues of the true track.....cool

Rideon....You're pretty much in my neighbourhood. When I get it done I'll PM you. You can have a look at it and take my RK for a run.(just don't mock it's weak power compared to your new build, please)
I'm swapping out my 440s for some Works shocks while I'm at it, plus adding RaceTech Gold Valves and custom fork springs up front.
Hey guy's, tell me, I'm going from a 2001 Road Glide (3/4" rear axle, old style swingarm) to a 2007 Street Glide (1" axle, new beefer swingarm) Is this modification as nessisary with the newer bike's compared to the older bikes? I thought these change's in the 2002 model year addressed this (Wobble issue) Rich A
I installed the Ride-STR8 on my 2000 Road King. Ituses the older styleand much cheaper mount that doesn't replace the floorboard mount.I decided I didn't like the way the True-Trak mounted on either end and this is the first I've heard of the Accu-Trak. For my model anyway, I'm still convinced that I made the right choice.
I noticed the difference on the first 25mph corner leaving the house. The increase in vibration is minimal and the rear steer is gone.
I think that the third link should be a factory installed device.Buells have all three links. After feeling the difference I would not hesitate to install one if/when I get a new or newer model with the beefed-up swingarm.
Shure would be nice if some objective magazine was to compare the three on the same or identical bikes. Comfortably Numb I didn't notice a price for the accu-track.
I liked the tru-track, built real good and nevr an issue in the corners for me. I have a standard thats lowered one inch. One thing I dont like is how it shrouds the oil pan.....but i will watch the temps and see if its an issue this summer.
i have the True Track...have friends with ridestr8...both are quality pieces...both do the same thing...mine NEVER drags...if you are draggin a True Track.... QUIT RIDIN OVER CURBS
I've been thinking about doing this mod as well. Ride str8 looks good to me, but a poster above mentions that you have to replace the passenger floorboard mounts. Question - I just replaced my passenger footpegs and mounts for my wife on my Street Glide. I installed the chrome passenger footboard support kit, p/n 52714-04 (page 491 in the '07 HD bible) and floorboards, p/n 50716-04 (page 492). This setupcost me over $300, and I would hate to lose them just to install the ride str8. Anyone out there know whether or not I could still use these passenger brackets and floorboards with the ride str8?
