i try to check them when i do a thorough cleaning (take the saddlebags off). sometimes if i'm inspired i'll do it in between. luckly they stay pretty well inflated, maybe only a pound or two down

FOR SAFETY ......GOOD HANDLING and LONGER TIRE MILEAGE .
CHECK YOUR AIR PRESURE FREQUNTLY .
Don't always go buy the recomended presure in your service mannual if you have other than stock tires .
Spend a few $$ and get a QUALITY Air Gage . A cheapy gage can be off 5lb to 10lb easy and the NUMBER ONE REASON Tires cup and wearout fast is underinflated tires .
Check your tires sidewall for the listed MAX Presureand keep it right there or one or two pounds more. Your bike will handle better ,this equals safer and you will get longer tire life.

Please no comments from the princes and the pea guys winning about feeling every crack in the road with properly inflated tires. ha ha

Like those above, I check once a month, or if I've let it sit before the first ride. Seems though if you ride regularly they hold pressure pretty well. If it's sat for a couple of weeks the rear seems to lose a little. I've checked the valve and it isn't punctured or cut. The front hold real well though.

I check it in the spring, then again maybe after a month. Then just randomly when i think of it. Can`t believe how many people check it once a week. Not saying it`s a bad thing. I honestly don`t notice a few psi either way. But that`s just me.

During riding season I check mine weekly and maintain them at the two-up pressure. I use a digital gauge and have double checked its reading (occasionally) with an old-school heavy-duty tire gauge to be certain I'm at least close. I check my rear shocks as well any time the wife is going along for a ride. This process has served me well

every week or two. I do it in the garage while I'm out there having a smoke. I find a pound loss here and there every few months. Gas station pumps are a PITA because they don't have the little angled chuck on the end they all seem to have the long stemmed dual chuck on them.

Default Tire pressure

Check mine before every ride. I try to give myself every advantage to ride safe. Checking tire pressure is a small thing to do rather than having a preventable problem on the road. I have discovered a slow leaker before by taking press. Every time., to each his own.

I check mine weekly and it is usually low. Also having a quality/accurate gauge is important. My HD gauge seems to be pretty close to my Joes Racing at about a pound off. Forget about the stick gauges as they are pretty much worthless if you want accuracy. Under inflated tires will greatly contribute to cupping. Sorry if any of this is a repeat but tired of typing into the forum today only to find out it didn't post.
