[quote=Mike_M;11365588]Yep, it's the 15 amp P&A fuse, top row, third column from the left.

Mike, thanks, I replaced this fuse tonight and it works. Have to get some spare fuses.

Switch it out if you like, but as I said in the beginning, myself and everyone I know uses the cigarette lighter to power their GPS....this isn't rocket science.

C'mon Dave. Everyone knows that the moco deducts a percentage of your warranty for each unauthorized use of an accessory that doesn't conform to their owner manual warnings. Now that I think of it, I think I owe them money now.

I would check the plug on the bike with a test light. Then I would check what ever you are using on the bike that is blowing fuses in another vehicle to see what happens. I also have used a GPS and cell phone charger for years without any problems. My latest GPS is (hot) hard wired into the batwing to keep the clock running while parked during trips. I bought an extra car wire when I bought the GPS.

Make sure the hot (center) contact doesn't create the short when you insert the power converter or when you force it at an angle by hitting the tank.

12 volts is 12 volts. I use mine all the time with no problems.......even if it will void your warranty for not doing what the MOCO tells you to do!!!

@dirtdobber
(How did you know the sockets are a different size? Did you mic them?)
