Not sure why you would want to change the complete exhaust, including headers, but I think it will fit.I had just the Slip-ons off a 2012 CVO on my 09 Classic(cat-less) and to my ear they were way quieter than the stock slip-ons.That being said,I do like the looks of the CVOs.
I thought it would bolt on as well but when i called the dealer and someone in parts said it wouldnt fit i got worried a bit. I appreciate all the replies when it arrives ill check it out and let ya'll know. Thanks gentlemen
Dansflhti to answer your question the stock baffles with the cat kills the sound. I dont want it too crazy loud but i want to be heard while riding and i want the bike to sound as mean as it looks. My buddy has the screaming eagle slip-ons on his night train and it sound awesome. But my stock exhaust if i start the bike in my garage i cant even hear it in the house.
I think you are gonna find that the CVO slip-ons are quieter than your stock slip-ons.I think you might be looking for the HD Screamin Eagle slip-ons which are louder than stock and you'll find them in the HD P&A catalogue.
Has anyone put a screaming eagle exhaust off of a cvo model onto a non cvo model? Is it possible and how much modification is required?
I put a 2012 set of CVO mufflers on a 2012 Trike - no problem. I have the Fuel Moto head pipe so no cat. At idle they are quieter then the stock mufflers. At cruise they sound good to me. Just what the doctor ordered for my ears. They tuned up real nice with my build, they must flow better. If you don't like the sound there are a few threads around about modifying them.
