appointment made two and 1\2 weeks ago. 13 SG, stage 1 air, SEPT, Rush true duals with 2 inch baffle to go with the 4 inch Big Louie. Dropped bike off last night. Dealer stated it will be ready around noon today. They called mid afternoon stating that the True Duals are back ordered and no idea when available. Thanks! They had already put on the new air cleaner. Options for tomorrow. Put on some Rinehart duals they have to go with the Rush Big Louie. Same price as the Rush True Duals. Gut the cat for free, tune and wait for the Rush True Duals. Put stock air back on and wait for everything to come in. Is the rinehart deal a good one, should I wait with the gutted cat? find a new dealer? Nice folks but not well organized.
Might want to check out the MGS True Duals. Stepped headers, 4-inch mufflers. They add 12+ ft lbs of torque and are in stock. We even have a dealer in Iowa that has them in stock, Big Barn Harley Davidson. You won't be disappointed!

Tell em you're possed cause of their lack of communication - customer service is apparently NOT their first priority. I agree the rhineheart is better gear. But tell them u war a discount for them dicking u around.

If you want to stay with what you asked for than have them leave the AC on and wait for them to get the Rush's in. No need to tune for just the AC change. Your bike will compensate for that. Mine did without any tuning. I also would be asking for a discount for your troubles. Talk to the owner and let him know your not happy - if they are nice folks they will step up with something.
I just had my race tune done, & I went with the SE Street Performance slipons. I felt they were the best looking, especially with the "piston" end caps, and gave me the sound I wanted...same as stock but much deeper, not really louder. And you know they prolly have them in stock. I thing Rineharts & Rush are too loud for a touring bike; OK on a Softail or Dyna.
Put it back to stock and waiting for all parts to get in. I live about 30 miles from Dealer. They are picking up the bike and delivering. I think they are a good Dealer and are trying hard to right the situation. They admitted they could have done better. Moving on. I was pretty pi$$ed though.
