other half puts her wallet in there with her hat or gloves..the other side holds a compressor and tire plugs.. never used them before getting the magnetic catches... made them useable. would miss having them now.
i have the drink holder from here, that replaced my cover. i had it on my 2010 and its now on my 2013....have crotch coolers and the leather covers for my crash bars and saddlebag bars. great folks to work with...great customer service and quality items. don't cost nuttin to check them out.
Magnetic flap doors!! Easy to install, give you very quick, easy access. I carry cell phone, wallet and keys on one side and map, sunglass case and spare doo rag in the other. Just don't leave stuff in there that you cannot afford to get stolen (true for snap or magnetic flaps though)
Speakers look nice but since I have road king with no radio they would be about as useful as the crap doors I have now.
The stuff your putting in them may make me buy the magnetic doors to be able to use the darn things.

Learned this when I had a boat...use a little Vaseline on the snaps to keep them lubricated and then the snap ring doesn't deform causing them to quit working/snapping. Seriously, I know this sounds weird but it really works. I used this on boat covers for years and years and never had an issue. Use it a few times/year on my FLHTK. If yours are already not working it may be too late. As another poster said, you can then switch to marine snaps.
I use the Vaseline on the boot to my Tbird. They were really hard to snap and get loose but with just a small amount they work great. I have one that doesn't work the greatest I'll have to try the Vaseline on it.
Vasoline doesn't seem to be answer to the ones that come un snapped..while riding. I guess this is a common problem...so I'm not the only one wunderin why these are so cheap..
Still think the Magnet closure is probably the ticket when I decide to spend more Money..
