big crank...oh yea!
Since i had some engine work done to my 09 classic 3 years ago it seemed lazy when starting. when hot sometimes it started ok sometimes not. battery being 5 years old i thought i would try a big crank 400cca battery. well.. what a difference. spins way better cold or hot. holds over 13volts always while my old one on the bench i around 12.4 . I feel much better but it costs more!

Is this the ET30XL? I think that's the part number...what caught me was your comment about the price. Mine cost about half of what the HD battery costs. How much was the big crank you purchased?

Still a 96 with cams and stage1 set up. always thought if i was to go bigger i would have to address the starting thing somehow since it started a little harder than stock. with this battery it starts much better, might even be ok for done up 103 or 106. cost was 100 shipped in USA.
