I bought at kit a the Harley Dealer and installed it myself....it's easy.
The kit came with a Y adapter taking power from the cigarette lighter. I used the ground on the bottom of the triple clamp. If you pull the left side cover off and look you will see some loose wires. Pick on that goes to the gauge area and is not connected to anything and use that for the radio memory (if needed). I had to and spliced in an inline fuse then connected it straight to the battery. It took me a couple of hours to do the install with speakers but it was my 1st time.
Thanks everyone for your comments and help with the radio. I got everything installed last night. I don't have an amp, but I am very impressed with the sound quality and volume of the Alpine stereo with the 6.5" Polk speakers. Wanted to get it out today and ride with tunes but it's cold and rainy here in Pittsburgh.
