Thumbs up

RE:

I just received the service manual for my 07 UC. While looking at wiring diagrams I noticed that there is circuitry for Bluetooth. I was going to ask about this on here but did some research on google first. Came across a post from someone who really put things in perspective for me. I read and bitch as well about cagers on cell phones and being distracted, why the heck would would I want to have my cell phone ring while out riding. If I have something so important to address than I need to stop and take of it and not try to watch for the AH who's trying to kill me and talk on the phone at the same time. If my wife wants to talkor tell me something, than she uses her outside voice and visa versa for me. We also developed signals to communicate without speaking. We can justify anything, but I bought a bike to experience the outdoors, smell the fresh cow dung in the pastures, but not be tied to the things we want to get away from. Thanks for allowing me to express myself. Paid membership has its privileges.

OP, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!!

I don't even use the radio on my Street Glide..... I've been riding somehow for 38 years without one, why would I need one now?

Jesus, pay attention to all those cagers around you who are trying to kill you.....

Simple is better.....

Isn't every ride about getting away from the B.S.?????

I've got an antique LG flip phone that does everything I need it to do...... If someone calls me, I answer, and they say Hi Ray.

If I call them, they answer, and I say hey it's me.....

Pay attention to the ROAD and the TRAFFIC!!!!!

Thank You, OP!!!!!! You got it right!!!!!

Bluetooth on bikes is intended for helmets with a compatible interface, mic and speakers that allow hands-free operation.

I saw what the BT was for. Asked the wife if she wanted one of those talk to each other helmets, not just no but hell know. Her and I kinda think alike. Can certainly understand those with family or friends serving our country not wanting to miss the opportunity to speak with them. That is an exception, but would hope it can be done in a safe space so the one they are talking with have them to come home to.
