I have a 2011 Street Glide with the hydraulic adjustable drivers back rest and I can't remove it. I has one of these on a previous bike and I don't remember it being a pita. Seems like you just pull up on it and comes out but I am pulling and it is not budging.

HELP!!

 

reach down the right side (as looking forward on the bike) of the back rest, where it goes down into the seat, you'll feel a small lever. Push the lever & pull the back rest out.

 

Lever gets pushed to the right. You should be able to spread the hole and see the latch.
