The one trick that works for me, is wearing soft, supple "field" boots, instead of big heavy, clunky "biker" boots.
When I ride with lace up work boots for some reason it all works better then when riding with biker boots. glad to see your post, thought it was in my head.
Have the Mustang Super Solo with backrest. I agree, can easily go till I rip through a tank of fuel. Sits me back in a comfortable position. I do wish the backrest leaned back a little more though, great support but pushes the rider up a bit.
Was thinking of maybe getting a Lepera Daddy long legs as my 2 up riding seat.
So which seat is the most comfortable for tall riders. I need to find a new seat ASAP.
This won't help you today but I had my seat done by Mean City and I love it. Moved me back 2 inches and set it up with double foam seat and it is very comfortable
Has anyone tried the Mustang Wide Tripper seat? I've been told they are very comfortable, but not sure how great they are for taller riders.
I have one that I've run on my Road King and an earlier Street Glide. I'm 6'3" w/34" inseam, so not super-tall, but I find its pretty comfy.
I keep trying other seats and keep coming back to the wide tripper. Its the only seat I've found that is pretty comfortable and doesn't look like a vinyl sausage.
6'5" here. I've found that the tallboy seat with an HD air cushion works quite well. Even softer on the backside and also sits you up a bit higher for more legroom. No sliding like with seat only.
