I roll our suits like a boy scout sleeping bag and store em together in the tourpack inside a plastic bag or in a section a suit case. Vacuum seal would be okay but if you are traveling far and have to use them, how would you repack for the ride back?

A neat long distance ride packing tip is to bring along some clean, old, worn out clothes, socks with holes, raggedy underwear etc.

Simply wear them several times till they get dirty and throw them away.

This way you have room to buy some souveniers/new t shirts along the trip.

I am getting ready for a 3week trip and I came up with same idea....here what I have been trying....walmart sells both kinds of these bags ONE YOU NEED A VAC and ONE THAT DOES NOT REQUIRE a vac!!!!!I picked up a few of the non-vac bags and took pillow, blanket and rolled them up! I let sit for 1 week and no air ever got in and wow how they compress!!!I plan on getting few more for my cloths that I will pack in tbag I belive that I can get more in bag now like pillow and blanket along with my cloths.....

Nope. Just pack tight and the rest will take care of itself.

wow, thats a little too ocd for me. what would happen if you pulled out tuesday's bag on a monday? would the world come to an end?

I wouldn't worry about rain gear here in June/July the wettest you'll get is from the fog above SF.

My question is...If you use the vacuum sealed bags to pack your clothing, and pack your bags full, how do you get everything back in there once they are removed from the bags while you are traveling?

Bed, Bath & Beyond. No Vacuum needed. You get about 7 large bags for $20. I use one fo my rain suit and it compresses well.
