that is the path of least resistance.....whats odd is for the stock comp uninstall/reinstall the manual states to use red 262 when reinstalling that bolt.

The Manual was written before they started putting a Dry Patch Thread locker on the Bolt.
The same Logic applies to Rotor / Pulley bolts (I mentioned to you in the other thread). Pre-Applied Dry Patch now, but Older Manuals will state to use Red and Blue Loctite. Also Re-using bolts was permissible

if the dry patch is on it, seems like the simplest path to go.
if the bolt DOES some loose later, what symptoms would one see/hear I wonder?
I have a torque wrench that goes up to 250 so getting to torque shouldn't be an issue....just don't want to be 100s of miles from home some summer worrying about this! lol
