I use RP in all 3 holes...

It meets your HD suggested spec. RTFM.

I wouldn't use it there, as it is a very slick synthetic with lots of friction modifiers. I use RP in the engine but use Castrol GTX 20w50 (fossil engine oil) in the primary, which is good enough for that low-tech area. You wouldn't need RP on a door hinge, and the primary isn't much more complex or needy of a high-tech oil. Any cheap fossil engine oil should work as well there.

Roger that. Same here.

I have been for over 40,000 miles with absolutely zero issues.

But of course this is seen as taboo by the redline mafia, who believe using anything else will break the space time continuem, which of course will end all life as we know it.
