Default noise somewhere

ok .i got a noise on my 11 road gilde,when im driving normal and let off the trottle then back on it .i hear noise like its like a ping .its on the left side of the motor and its hard to explain.i put a octane booster in , didnt work .it sort of sounds like its coming out the primary .any advice would be great

Could be your primary chain. When you let off the gas the chain will get some slack in it and when you give it gas it will tighten back up.JMO...

thats what i was thinking . theres got to be a way to check it with out pulling the cover off
