As circumstances were what they were, I was not able to take the bike out for a couple of weeks. Instead of riding, I thought about monotube shocks, rear suspension set ups, anti-theft devices for my hard bags, XIEDs and other fuel management systems, external engine fans, LED headlights and taillights, ABS-like options on a non-ABS bike, custom audio, cell phone mount, engine stabilizers, and the list goes on and on.
Today I went on a nice ride with a good friend. All of that other stuff faded away. I love to tinker with the bike (and thinking about tinkering with the bike)...but nothing, and I mean NOTHING, compares to just riding the damn thing. That is all.
I'm ready for a good long ride. We've had some spurts of good weather, and I've been out a few times.....but weather has been challenging. I'm ready for that 3-4 days in the saddle kind of ride. I've really missed it this winter. Lousy spring.

You enjoy that ride for me man! My circumstances being what they are, all I can do is think about upgrades and with my tax allowance the OL so graciously gave me, lmao, I have piled up a few things that are waiting on me when I get done sucking sand this Sept. Everyone be safe and have a great summer out and about on your scoots. Keep the shiny side up, 90 days or so I will be back burning up the roads, so look out!!!
