Hard start after washing 07 uc
I tried searching and got lots of threads but did not see anything related to washing. A buddy of mine has an 07 ultra that he built a little different than mine. He just called because he knows I get a lot of info from this forum. His bike won't start after he washes it. He gets a puff of smoke/vapor out the intake. he said it doesn't happen in the rain and road spray doesn't bother it. Has anyone else experienced this, or can point me to a thread so I can give him some things to check on?

Might be how he is washing it? Maybe he is using a power washer and getting water into the plug boots, or other electronics?
I would probably pull the plug boots, and any other exposed connectors, blow them out, and reseat them with di-electric grease as mentioned above.

He doesn't have a power comander, and uses a garden hose. I'm thinking If it was a grounding issue it would happen more than just when he washes it.
