I updated the firmware on my deck tried burning as a data disk on 1x write speed. I converted all the songs to the same format and about 40 out of the 75 play. It's so weird. On my 06 Electra glide I had the biketronics retro harness and the Sony deck where you could put ur phone/iPod in the receiver. So I got a new bike 09 SG and thought the harley deck would be better than the biketronics set up. Boy was I wrong, this harley deck is so sensitive and doesn't play mp3's. The cd's I burned all work in my car. Does anyone know of a good iPhone 5 mount?

Use the search tool for iPhone mounts, there are plenty of them. For my listening pleasure: an aux cable ran through the fairing, a 120 GB iPod Classic, a small square of velcro to attach to fairing, and I take my entire music library with me! Of course I end up skipping over half of the songs because it's crap that my kids have put in there...when I get to where I'm going I just unplug the aux cable from the ipod, remove the ipod and saddlebag it or pocket it. Easy Peasy!

What are CDs?

In all seriousness, I would do what others have suggested and use an auxiliary cord and an MP3 player or other device. MP3 players can be picked up on the cheap rather easily.

I've always used Windows to burn my mp3 data disks... never had a problem on either bike.
Of course it alphabetizes the songs but I don't care... it's easier to find them that way for me.

Create a new folder on your Computer then copy and paste the songs you want to that folder. Then rename the songs ... John Mellencamp - Jack and Diane to
01 - John Mellencamp - Jack and Diane
02 - 38 Special - Rough Housin'
etc and if you delete all the embedded artwork you can be sure that all the songs will play.

Never had any problems using iTunes for MP3 discs, even with album artwork. I rip music from music cd's and convert to MP3's. I rarely buy music from iTunes since anything purchased from iTunes has to be burned to a music (audio) disc and re-ripped back to your library.
If you have iTunes purchased music, doing this will enable you to burn new discs as many times as you want.

I have an classic 80 gig Ipod and a 8 gig Nano that I used on my old bike. @Vivid does your 120 gb iPod skip being that it is a hard drive? I tried burning in Toast, Disk Utility and iTunes. I give up - I didn't want to use cds anyway it is so much easier to just drag and drop songs on an ipod. I would like to find a good iPhone 5 case that i could attach to the top of my fairing behind the windshield. Then I could use the Navigation on the phone and Sirius. I will have to search the threads for a solid iphone 5 mount.
