Congrats. Know what you mean with our So. Fl unpredictable weather. Anymore if it's not raining on way into work I'll ride. Don't care about getting on the way home. Have time to air dry.
Thanks to everyone for all the posative comments, I will posts picks of both if the weather ever clears, Sunday is supposed to be nice.
To FLTHarkeyman-I got $7,000 for it, we had 49,000 miles on it. I was the 3rd owner. I paid $8,000 3 years ago when it had 27,000 miles. It was already loaded with chrome so besides maintenance and tires I really didn't have to put money into it. It was getting a few warts, had to really keep after the chrome with chrome cleaner or it would pit.
To dlpuette-Added 4" Rinehart pipes and set up for the dyno tune as soon as the engine break in is done, probably will wait til I get 700 - 800 miles on it.
To akcruiser-decided to go with the HD nostalgic footboards, break pad, shifter pegs, don't like the nostalgic grips, they look like they belong on a bicycle so gonna go with the chrome and rubber grips, they have the HD shield and I think they will match up fine. I had the Willie G skulls on the 99, time for a different direction.
With Fathers Day coming up I have my wish lists with part numbers laying all over the house.
